Depending on where you live, you will want to spend the winter in your tiny home feeling warm and cozy. Without a proper heater you could end up with ice cold feet or wasting precious energy opening windows in an overheated small space. With that in consideration, if you are looking for a heater for your tiny home then the eco heater is an ideal choice.
Eco heaters are easy to install, completely flat, wall mounted heaters that run on 400 watts of power, less than a third of what other type of heaters use.
There are a few things you need to know about the Eco heater so as to have a good user experience. First there is minimal documentation on how to use the heater but it’s because it’s that easy to install and use. However if you have oddly placed outlets in your tiny home, you will want to be careful about where you place the heater. It’s recommended that you place it six to eight inches off the floor. You will also need to keep it away from clothing, doors that will remain open and windows.
How does it work?

It uses convection heat to naturally circulate warm air from between the wall and the heater. It has no fans, so there is no risk of sending dust particles into the air and the heater will also not need cleaning. This will cut back on energy cost as compared to the other heaters with fans.
How to install it

Once you have bought it, it’s easy to install. Screw it into the wall of your tiny home.
The heater cord is standard meaning; you can plug it into any standard two prong outlet. Though I would not suggest installing it over or under the outlet you intend to plug it into, as warm air will come out from behind the heater although it may not be warm enough to melt the plug or cord, it’s not ideal.
It has one on/off switch. It doesn’t have a thermostat meaning adjusting the temperature is simple, it also means the heat needs to be sufficient for the area you place it in.
The Eco heater claims to be safe for kids and pets though it’s advisable that you keep away from the surface as it maintains a very warm temperature.
Advantages of the eco heater

One unique trait I love about the Eco heater is the fact that it will easily blend with the interior décor of your tiny home. You can paint over the heater to match the color of your walls after you have installed it on your wall. Additionally its slim profile helps free up space. This makes it a covetable choice for those concerned with the appliances design.
Eco heaters are virtually burn proof. Although it will take longer to warm up your tiny space, once it gets there, it will maintain the temperature nicely. This low-wattage heater makes for toasty evenings with little effect on your electric bill.
An ideal choice for and your tiny home as it’s easy to install, uses less energy and is safe to use.
